Session I: 33-100 AD Pentecost and Apostolic Missions begin to shape the Church.
Session II: 100-313 AD Persecution, Martyrs, and Heresies.
Session III: 300-500 AD The Council of Nicea, Barbarians, St Jerome and St Augustine.
Session IV: 500-1000 AD St Benedict, Monasticism and the Rise of Islam.
Session V: 1000-1300 AD The Best of Christendom, St Thomas Aquinas, Universities and the Crusades.
Session VI: 1300-1500 AD The Unmaking of Christendom. Prelude to the Protestant Reformation.
NO CLASS-All Saints Day
Session VII: 1500-1550 AD The Rise of Protestantism. Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Conversion of the Americas.
Session VIII: 1550-1700 AD The Church Reforms Itself. Jesuits, Dominicans and Carmelites Lead the Way.
NO CLASS- Thanksgiving Break
Session IX: 1700-1950 AD. The French Revolution and Modern Societies. Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima.
Session X: 1950-Today Second Vatican Council. Pius XII, John XXIII, John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Mother Teresa of Calcutta.
