RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS

Are you looking for a Church family? Do you desire to be baptized? Have you been baptized as a Catholic but haven't completed the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist? Have you been baptized in another faith but want to find out more about the Catholic Church? This process may be just what you are looking for.

The sacraments of Christian initiation - Baptism, Confirmation , and Eucharist - are celebrations of conversion and discipleship. They ritualize God's call to each of us to follow authentic life-styles that are liberating for all (conversion). They celebrate freedom from sin, and identity as sons and daughters of God, the gift of the Spirit, the incorporation into the Christ, and the nourishment of the very presence of the Lord.

This journey takes place on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in any of this, and want more information, please call Sister Celeste Hanigan at (858) 484-1070, or e-mail Sister Celeste ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ).

The formal steps in the process of Christian Initiation are detailed in the Outline of Preparation for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation.
