The parish is looking for married couples to assist in preparing our engaged couples for marriage in the Fall of 2025. We use Joy-Filled Marriage by Ascension Press.

• This is an important part of marriage preparation for those couples planning to get married at OLMC.

• Mentor couples are trained to lead the Joy-Filled Marriage program which uses video presentations, discussion questions, and workbooks.

• Mentor couples are assigned to work with 3-5 engaged couples.

• Mentor couples can host meetings in their homes or in the parish Discipleship Center.

• There are a total of six meetings.

• Meetings will start in the Fall and must be completed before Thanksgiving. The dates and times of meetings depend on the mentor couple’s availability.

To be eligible to serve as a mentor couple, husband and wife must be in a valid marriage (recognized by the Church) of at least 7 years in length and practicing the Catholic faith. This is a wonderful way to share your time and talent to help others fully experience the blessings that God intends for them through the vocation of marriage. Mentor couples find that the experience strengthens their own marriage.

We ask that volunteers be willing to serve two years in a row. If you are interested in serving as a mentor couple in the Spring, you can also respond now and indicate the Spring.
