In 1976, a small group of faithful gathered with a shared vision: to build a spiritual home dedicated to the glory of God and service of the people of Rancho Peñasquitos, under the patronage of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. In 2026, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the parish. The parish has been a place of encounter with God and a community of faith, love, and service.

At the direction of the Pastoral Council, a group of parishioners is planning various events to commemorate this important anniversary. The precise day is November 17, 2026, but the celebration is too big to be contained in one day. As plans are finalized, they will be posted on this webpage.
