Pier’s Heart Ministry
Pier's Heart is a new subgroup within the MFL Ministry that will provide opportunities for families to help serve the poor and suffering by bringing Christ to others in the form of loving deeds.
The name was inspired by Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati whose image is contained in one of the church’s stained glass windows above the baptismal font. We will be using the example of Blessed Giorgio Frassati as our guide to help nurture and develop the same heart of service within our families.
We hope all families and individuals (ages 0-99) across the parish at one point or another can join us in emulating Blessed Pier by putting our beautiful Catholic faith into action and serve the poor with a heart like Christ.
Recently, the Pier’s Heart Ministry in collaboration with our parishioners and community members joined efforts for Pier's Heart Hygiene Kit Project and collected over 1000 hygiene items and created about 350 hygiene kits for Interfaith Community Services!
