Mental Health Information

Every person is created in God's image. Reflecting the likeness of God, all people are deserving of utmost respect and dignity in the midst of episodes of mental illness that can affect persons of any age, race, religion or income. Our parish has made a commitment to become a faith community that both understands mental illness and can provide compassionate support. OLMC Mental Health Volunteers are trained in appropriate procedures to maintain privacy of those with whom they relate. Our ministry does not intend to replace professional nor clinical services, but exists to serve individuals and  families experiencing mental illness by offering God's hope and love through encouragement, practical support, resources and prayer.

If you or a family member are experiencing mental health challenges, let us share some of the things that we have learned and support you in whatever way we can. To contact OLMC Mental Health Ministry for non-emergency assistance click on the contact button below.
